Monica Michael is back with a vengeance on The X Factor UK 2015 after getting cut by Cheryl last year!
YES! YES! YES! I absolutely ADORED Monica last year, and didn’t understand why the hell she got cut, particularly considering some of the girls who got through. Monica was one of the best singers in the competition, right up there with Emily Middlemas, so I was disappointed to see her go. But I’m thrilled she’s back, and with more experience and even more poise. She’s got a tremendous instrument, and this performance of Christina Aguilera’s “Impossible” was proof enough that Monica is back in a big way, with even Cheryl admitting that cutting her was one of her biggest regrets last season (I’m guessing she got instant buyer’s remorse on Stephanie Nala). I’m hoping Monica is able to make the live shows this year, because I’d love to see what she could do on the big stage. Watch Monica’s audition video below:
